Let me preface this by stating I'm a middle-aged woman, not a professional contractor. I bought this mainly for home drywall finishing and painting projects. It was simple for me to assemble. I bought this to replace a similar light that I bought a few years ago at Lowes that unfortunately was lost during a move. I was immediately amazed at how bright the lights were compared to my old set, like NO comparison. I am able to adjust these so that there is no shadow cast anywhere in my work area at all. I haven't had any reason to remove the top section, but it's a nice feature for versatility in the future. All the adjustments are very easy to slide and position. I love having the USB and plug outlets in the back of the lamps and they are great for keeping my cell phone and an extra battery for power tools charged and handy. I can't think of anything they could have done differently to have made this unit any better or more versatile. I read a lot of reviews prior to deciding on this particular lamp and the only negative I read was in regard to longevity, which I cannot comment on because I've only just begun using it. I will update my review if it doesn't last a reasonable amount of time. Overall, I am exceptionally pleased with every aspect of this light.
