Review on EBC Brakes GD7223 Dimpled Slotted by John Pound

I installed them on my ES300 to replace the OEM front rotors. The EBC website states that "aerodynamic wind noise" is to be expected with slots. A more accurate description is a loud ticking or spinning ratchet noise that's constant above 15 mph (and VERY loud at highway speeds) whether you're braking or not. In any case, these rotors are quite noisy and annoying. I contacted EBC and they said it was normal for slotted rotors and would shrink but not go away after about 1000 miles. It's not like this. EBC had to be honest and accurate in describing the type of noise these rotors make.
