Every Duracell AA battery I've ever bought and used in the last five to eight years has leaked. For the past four years, they've ruined my doorbells, flashlights, pressure lights, wall clocks, and battery-powered indoor and outdoor temperature sensors. About 15-20 years ago they worked fine. But now they flow. Everyone. Lonely. Time. I even kept some of them in a little plastic bag next to the item they were supposed to go in. When I took the bag out five months later, they leaked inside the bag. Not even within the article and not even while using the article. I don't know what to say. Duracell was a reliable battery product many years ago. No longer. It is obvious that the company has reduced the cost of its product so much that it has become completely unreliable and non-functional. I will never, ever, ever buy Duracell batteries again.
