I wear women's shoes 8.5/9 and bought 8 after reading the reviews. They fit perfectly. They are comfortable which is what I wanted. They're also fairly open/mesh-like at the top, but not like water shoes. I liked that aspect because my feet get hot and I wanted something that could breathe. Not ideal for winter weather but great for the office, home or casual events.
