The first was sent back because it didn't work, the second was sent in the same condition

When I first bought this hole punch, the lid was unconnected on one side. I tried to attach it but it wasn't easy. Instead of forcing the issue I returned it and asked for another one. When the second one came in with their side and center pieces not attached to the top bar, I figured they were going to hit me. Punches don't seem to be an item to collect after purchase. I think it's poor quality control. Anyway, I took the top off and put it back on. Didn't want to try to come back again so we did it.
