Review on Mizuno 411304 9097 15 1100 Wave Horizon 5 by Alan Sitton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

My 3rd pair is the best in my rating

I've been using the Mizuno Skywave Horizon range for a long time. I've had waves 3 and 4. Wave 5 doesn't really change the formula, but as the saying goes, "If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it." The only reason I had to give it 4 stars , is that they are relatively heavy. However, I do a lot of long-distance weightlifting, so I appreciate a sturdier, more durable running shoe. The airier, lighter options don't seem to do well. Generally a very versatile and solid performer. These shoes have also lasted longer than any other shoe I've worn including Asics, Hoka, Solomon, Nike.

Pros
  • It features a durable outsole that offers excellent traction on a variety of surfaces and terrains.
Cons
  • Shoes may not provide enough support for runners with certain foot problems.
