I wanted to get rid of using a USB WiFi adapter on an old AMD dual core computer I built using Linux Lite. Being an older machine I didn't want to invest a lot of money in the system due to age and lack of daily use. I found this card and it seemed to fit the bill. I also needed a PCI card instead of PCI-E due to the lack of other types of ports. I installed it and decided to look at the contents of the attached disk where I found the Linux folder. It's amazing how many vendors don't support Linux. It turned out that I did not have to try to load additional drivers on top of what was naively installed with the OS. Selected my network's SSID, entered the password and after a few seconds I was greeted by the connection. I checked the speed on the speedtest.net site, everything is fine. Well, good for what my favorite ISP offers (no ads but actually offers). Time will tell if it holds up, but on first install it lives up to all my expectations and then some.
