They worked, but they really are meant to be used once or twice. These socks were too small for my wheels despite using the size chart provided. We hit a white puddle going uphill and these things saved the day! If you pull hard on a sock to put it on, it rips at the seam, which is really the only reason it fits. The other one went halfway and I rode it for a bit and surprisingly it held up. They aren't very durable but saved my ass! When we got to our destination I bought some tire cables so I had something that could be used multiple times.
