I have a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G and have had so many issues with screen protectors in the past it's amazing. Most Note 20 Ultra cases sit very high on the phone. So if you place your phone face down, it won't touch the phone's surface. So I ordered two of these films and threw away the protective glass. The first ran great, very smooth, no bubbles or anything except on the sides that kept going up and I had air bubbles around the edges due to the case. So I figured it out by trimming a bit on each side hoping it would lay flat and the body wouldn't bother it. When I tried it for the first time I was so excited and I did it too fast and there were a lot of bubbles underneath because I pulled the protective sheet to attach it and couldn't get the air bubbles out. So on the second one I took my time and was very patient and it came out perfectly after cutting the sides, now it sits completely flat with no bubbles, it's fine, absolutely gorgeous. So yes, you can crop the sides if you take your time and be patient with the installation and everything will turn out nice. Tip: After trimming the sides a bit, when attaching after positioning, do not peel off the top layer too hard, just pull back far enough to separate the film from the top layer and let the scraper do that. the rest does not pull off the protective film and it works fine too. I will order a third set for spares. Thanks to LK for a great screen protector, best I've ever used now that I thought I could trim the sides. Please just let your customers know that if they have a flip case and phone they will need to trim the sides a bit so it lays perfectly flat and not on the curved edges and everything would be absolutely beautiful. Also, after installing this screen protector, you don't need to install the fingerprint again, it will read it perfectly. As I said, now everything is perfect!
