After the miracle of the TV worked for my mother, I decided to buy one to sate my family's curiosity and confusion; They didn't know you could make waffles out of rice cakes! I had it over 10 years ago and knew how it worked; just a simple iron that can make rice cake filled waffles, and after constant tossing and turning, it spits out nice and crispy rice cake waffles. And about a miracle. It did exactly what I bought it for, doesn't require much cleaning and doesn't require much maintenance. You can spray it with some nonstick spray to make it even smoother, although I didn't really need it. My only concern is that I wish you could take the iron apart so you can wash it separately instead of turning it ugly at 90 degrees and staying locked up. Or maybe there is a way to separate if washing is required; But there are no instructions and I haven't quite figured out how to do it yet.
