Bought simply because I liked the look, it reminded me of radios from the Fallout series of games. Pros: It looks way better and bigger than I imagined. it would be. (Seller really needs to update their photos) Mine came packaged in a brand new box so if anyone likes vintage stuff this is a gift option. It's definitely the cheapest option when it comes to that unique vintage style (especially the cherry wood color). You really won't find anything that cheap. Cons: The player option is really lacking, this thing easily skips your recordings until the needle hits the middle of your recordings. Either I received a defective item, or the arm in this piece is not very good for playing records (the arm seems to be out of balance). The sound quality is good, but it doesn't get too loud. (I totally agree) The included remote control is absolutely useless. Doesn't work over long distances. In general, I liked this player, I hope to get a response from the seller on behalf of the player. Actually I wanted it for this version of the player. Luckily, I had the option to pay the extra $20 for two-day shipping and free returns. Few have seen this option, so I hope my review will help others make the right choice.
