I was skeptical about finding an RFID lock for such a low price but it works great. I liked the fact that it has two locking positions, both vertical and horizontal. This allows you to install it in different ways. I used this set of sliding doors that hide a secret compartment. Installed not long ago, so I can't comment on durability. The instructions were a bit confusing, but not that bad. If you can't access the back after installation, you should install the control key first, as you'll need to hold down the small reset button on the back and then swipe your card across the front. I've managed to read keys through a bit more and an inch of wood. I'm sure it will work up to at least 1.5 inches.
