Product works well initially. I bought it so I can video chat with my baby so it's been pretty good for a couple of weeks. One of the three leg extensions was a bit loose so you really had to tug to make sure it was fully deployed or it would slip out again. The problem is that the tripod is made out of the cheapest plastic imaginable. This meant that when I tightened the locking mechanism to hold the phone in portrait mode, the plastic anchor broke and gravity pushed the phone down. The first time it fell to the ground, the handle part broke so that it could no longer be attached to a real tripod. As I said, I bought it so my daughter could communicate with her grandparents. If you want something to sit on the table for the videophone's main purpose, never move, forever out of reach of slippery fingers, this is a great, inexpensive option.
