Review on πŸ”Š Tribit StormBox Blast Portable Acoustic Speaker by Janis Janis ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

Although I did not buy here, but there is something to tell. Reviewed a bunch of reviews - made the right choice. Sold 2 soundcore rave neo, reported a little and bought a stormbox blast. I was immediately shocked by the enveloping bass, at home I listen mainly at a volume of 20-30%, above there is either a lot of bass, I have to turn it down, or loudly for a simple background pleasant listening. When compared with the same boombox 2/3, the middle loses and a little bass depth. If everything is clear with the depth of the bass - there is simply no way to compete, then you can work with the middle. In the application, it’s not entirely possible to set it up, because no matter how you set it up, the bass on the xbass equalizer is noticeably stronger. I got out of the situation by looking into the built-in Dolby Atmos on realme, where I tightened the middle without losing the base and tops. Now it's just a gun. In general, if tribit slightly modify the application in terms of a custom equalizer (namely, the Hz bands to match the standard ones, but for some reason they are different), then there will be practically nothing to complain about. The same goes for the stormbox micro 2 - the custom EQ starts at 80Hz, which is ridiculous, because this little girl emits confidently 55Hz. This is what I don't understand. And so, just a gun for your money.

Pros
  • Sound, price, looks
Cons
  • Proprietary charging connector, custom equalizer, weight (to nitpick)
