Pros: - Works with my Macbook Pro, Mac OS X, no problem. - Economical - Works seamlessly with roller blind labels purchased from Revain - ASAP - INCLUDES label holders, no separate purchase required! Cons: - The English translation in the manual is really a comedy - I don't know how to teach label paper, but there seems to be a way to teach the printer how best to use another brand's labels. However, we will never know. TIPS: When printing from Mac OS X, open the C418 driver and select Print as Image. the print quality is identical to the PDF file. If you don't select this option, print quality will be much worse and barcodes may or may not be read by the carrier's equipment. Windows may have a similar option, check before sending the device back. After making this adjustment, the print quality improved from poor to fair. The barcode lines are clear again - Try Windows and the Windows driver. I've had good results with the Mac and the Mac printer driver, but the labels were still a bit poor quality in the PDF417 code output. I switched the printer to a windows computer, installed the windows driver and see the results are definitely better. Make sure you select the correct paper size in the vendor's Windows driver (I chose 100mm x 150mm, roughly 4 x 6 inches) and play around with the settings until the PDF417 USPS code is read from a smartphone -Code reader can be read easily (I use scandit demo app on Android). ).
