I have a very old dog who has had a large ulcer on his back for a long time and he bleeds a lot because he keeps licking it. Time. In the beginning I bought a cone that was so heavy she couldn't lift her head, so I continued my search and found this jacket. I'm considering getting a second one because she keeps leaking the area over the very thin and light fabric and the bandage slips and bleeds again so I have to wash it and use a rain cover while it dries. In short: this sleeve is amazing, it is made of thin, stretchy jersey whose shape covers the whole body. Really useful and practical for the pet! The first one I got is small and the second one is a bit big for her body but I fold them at the back and it works. Either way it's better than the cone and I recommend it.
