I've only had this hammock for a few weeks. I have a 70 pound senior dog who is exercise and active but doesn't jump around all over the place in the back seat. When you have dogs like this, they chew, jump and tear things up. There are more durable options, but the two I know of are smaller and less intuitive in design. For me the cheapest purchase option. Good material but not waterproof. Liquid seeps through the material but it's still a good material and looks well made. Here's what I did and I think it's a must have for anyone wanting to fully waterproof their seats. That's if you don't want to buy expensive custom seat covers. Go to Walmart and buy a "thin" shower curtain, they come in different thicknesses. I have a 2014 Honda Civic and it fits perfectly in the back seat. Pass the headrest through the holes in the shower curtain and tuck in the edges. After washing it a few times and it has been used a bit. I like to take my dog with me whenever I can so he will be of great use!
