I have several relatives who are hard of hearing. Hearing aids are not the answer. The sound quality is incredible. Easy charging at the charging station. Another plus is both RCA (input and output) and optical connections. But the controls are tiny, and black type is printed on a black background. I have excellent eyesight and can barely see the controls in bright light. It's too easy to accidentally change the settings when you turn them on. I suggest applying several different nail polish colors to different controls. I bought one at full price about a year ago and it came with all the cables so I assumed they would too. But I didn't read the fine print. Cables, even the power cord, are NOT included in the refurbished discounted version. It was my fault for not reading it carefully. It's still a lot and all problems can be solved even if you add the price of the cables. I ordered four and am very, very satisfied.
