Review on 🚰 InSinkErator H-Wave-SN Involve Wave Instant Hot Water Dispenser with Stainless Steel Tank - Satin Nickel Finish by Chris Brazington

I bought this to replace an old Insinkerator Hot 1 that broke. The hole in my countertop is 1 1/4" in diameter and the specs for this product say it can be installed in a 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" hole. But I found that this is not the case. This version - H-WaveC - does not fit in the existing hole. I called the installation help hotline to see what I could be doing wrong and the tech said the hole should be 1 1/2 If it is and the techs know then why does the datasheet say that Product can be installed in a "standard" hole with a diameter of 1 1/4" - 1 1/2"? This product is not listed as it cannot be installed as listed and I will be returning it. Don't trust this specification enough to purchase another model of Insinkerator.
