I bought this for the days when I actually run out of electricity. I'll be back to work soon too and figured I might as well toss this in my purse on days when my hair was really bad! It heats up quickly and has a lockable handle, which is important if you throw it back in your purse. I only gave four stars because the smoothing surface is a bit smaller than I would like. Other than that, it does the job.
