Review on Samsung Galaxy Note Smartphone 20 Ultra (SM-N985F) 8/256 GB RU, black by Bali ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good product, more pros than cons.

I took a black Note 20 Ultra 8/256 PCT on Exynos, as I needed support for e-sim and microSD. Moved from LG G7 + 6/128. The leather case had to be taken immediately. The chargers available all came up. The screen, of course, is impressive in size and quality. From the photo and video, a noticeable step forward. The S Pen is an interesting feature. Wireless Dex is also a fun thing, but who uses it in practice?! The rest turned out to be some kind of complete failure in ergonomics. And this is for such money!

Pros
  • - Huge QHD+ screen. Adaptive 120Hz for FHD+. An impressive margin of brightness. High-quality factory protective film on the screen. - Charger and wired USB Type-C decent-sounding AKG in-ear headphones included. - The most complete support for all mobile communication protocols in 2022, including VoLTE and VoWiFi. - 2 sim + e-sim + microSD up to 1TB. Given the support of e-sim by all major OpSoSs in 2022, this allows you to simultaneously use 2 sims (one regular, the second e-sim) and a memory card. - Full support for USB PD and Qi charging standards allows you to use a very wide range of wired and wireless chargers. - Some of the best photo and video capabilities on the market. - IP68 - dust and moisture protection. - S Pen for those who know what it is for. - Decent performance. - Bixby scripts are powerful. - Official support and fairly rich Samsung ecosystem.
Cons
  • - Battery 4500mAh - still enough for a day at a typical usage scenario. - Either adaptive 120Hz FHD+ or 60Hz QHD+. Trishkin caftan. - Traditional for Samsung lack of support for aptX HD. The bulk of high-quality wireless full-size cameras support exactly aptX HD. I have 3 pairs in my family. But Samsung hints that Sony with LDAC will not interfere. Or buy wireless Samsung with support for native Scalable, nafig not needed. Then they would put their Buds in the kit. There are no words, it's a shame. - Terrible fingerprint in the screen. They are just awkward to use. I could not even imagine that smart for that kind of money would have such problems. Since contactless payment in stores using Google Pay or Samsung Pay requires unlocking the smartphone, the whole process becomes a pain. - Facial recognition is poorly implemented. Again, just inconvenient to use. - A huge amount of pre-installed software from Samsung itself and domestic, required by law. And not all of it is removed. Most of the software is simply not needed, or simply duplicates the functionality. - There is no regular recording of a conversation from the line. - A huge protruding camera block at the back, which will definitely cling to everything. The problem is solved by purchasing a cover.
