I lost the part that attaches to my grip but the part that attaches to my spokes stays. I searched a bit on the internet and found some people who suggested using a small strong magnet attached to the crank or pedal. I decided I would just go the easy way and bought this kit. Of course, it's just a strong magnet with a plastic sleeve that you zip up next to the pedal. If I lose that magnet I'll probably buy a pack of 40 rare earth disc magnets for $10 and have a lifetime supply.
