After looking at the project I had - shredding twenty-five boxes of manuscripts - I decided I needed a heavy-duty shredder. I wasn't happy spending the money so I was doubly sure it would work. I am very impressed. I destroyed four boxes of manuscripts in the first two days, and this thing is a tank. He keeps working, just doing what he has to do. Due to the permanent function of the motor, it does not overheat. Now I'm not so afraid of the rest of the project. UPDATE: a year later. i like this thing He just went through all the manuscripts and today I finished another project (a 5 ft stack of shredded materials) that he completed in no time. It really doesn't overheat. It just works.
