Update 9th September: After 2 days of trying to reprogram it (which you don't need as it should be autoprogrammed to your TV) I couldn't either get going. IRR works on both the remote and my TV, so now I need to find the NON-Vizio CBL remote that also has a "TV Power" button for programming. I broke the original and ordered this remote control to compare. The original board of the controller says XRT112-00C with the date 2012-12-26. This new one only reads WFA-1456. ALSO noticed the older one had some resistance but this new one doesn't, something is lame. It doesn't work :( What the heck which remote control works for this E500i-A0 TV? According to the results XRT112 should work for this TV
