The camera works. The image will appear on the screen after about 2-3 seconds. Everything went great and I love the product. The only things that made installation difficult were the size of the wiring and the splices. Both connectors broke so I had to reconsider how to connect the wires to the truck. Also, the cables that are supposedly used to connect to the car's wiring are too small. They don't even stay crimped in the included connector. They came out right away and I used special wire cutters. You should have thicker wires that stay in the connector. I ended up connecting the small wires to the thicker wires I had and used a welder I bought at a hardware store. My heavier wires were the same size as the car wires so the welder worked great. All in all, it took a bit of creativity and a trip to the hardware store to get it working better. Otherwise it works and so far (3 days after installation) I am satisfied. Update: Been in use for over a month now and the video only shows 3/4 of the time. Very buggy and won't turn on for some reason. Tried moving the antenna but still not 100%. If I had bought a wireless one, I would have ordered a different model.
