The new Asus monitor works great. I connected it to my Apple Macbook Pro M1 and Surface Pro 8 as a monitor and power. Both laptops, not at the same time, can be charged and used as an external monitor. For those who have doubts or leave negative feedback, be sure to get the USB4 USB C Cable 40Gbps/100W Support Cable. I use the 100w version; I believe 64 watts should work (unconfirmed). And yes, these cables are $20 to $40 for 3 feet. Keep in mind that not all USBC cables are created equal. You may have a USBC connector on both ends, but it may not meet the transfer rate requirements.
