Review on 🚗 Dorman 42631 Front Windshield Wiper Arm: Perfect Fit for Ford Models by Yuri Rochelin

Will not fit my 1995 Ford F250. The problem lies in the latch mechanism and the design of the part that slides over the slotted post. The top of the slotted strut in the hood has a screw with a special pattern. The inside of the lever doesn't follow this pattern, so the new lever doesn't fit into the serrations tight enough for the locking mechanism to fully lock. It's just a design flaw on this aftermarket part. Need a redesign. I emailed Dorman to see if they had a solution but received no response. So be sure to check the spline rack on your truck before ordering and if it has a three notch pattern at the top then IT WILL NOT FIT. I suspect others who have been successful have another post that Ford may have moved to at some point.
