I really wanted this press to be useful for an international trip. Two problems: The plastic gasket around the plunger came loose before I even used it! And it wasn't easy to reset. Also, I really don't see the option to add milk before my coffee is actually ready. I didn't think of that before buying. I ended up with a small press pot (Mira made entirely of stainless steel) and a new travel mug. It's a little more weight, but the piston doesn't fall apart because there's no separate seal. It is integrated with the grid.
