This is a solid scanner for use on large single tables. I recommend it for legal use with a Mac. You really need to eat the cost of driver software. A large court in my area that only uses paperless filings (Fulton County Superior Court) uses the same scanner, f1-7160, for attorneys and laypeople coming to court. Firm and the need to file paperwork in person. All federal and bankruptcy courts are now filing electronically only, and most Georgia state courts have transitioned to electronic filing, most exclusively. Going to court for days to circumvent the law (or the registration deadline, parking and mileage).
