This adapter is not designed to support the weight of a large lens. If you have EF mount 70-200mm or higher. This mount will disappoint you in the moments when you cannot afford to be disappointed. The mount is not as firm and reliable. The pins that electronically connect the lens to the camera are separate from my heavier lenses 90% of the time I use them. That means my camera doesn't even feel like it has a lens attached. Not in a good mood. I have to turn the camera off, wait and then turn it back on for the camera to sync back to the lens. I don't think this problem occurs with smaller lenses. I hope not.
