Review on BFGoodrich g-Force Stud 245/45 R17 99Q winter by Michal Michal ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Feel free to buy, for such a price, the quality is simply amazing.

I drive a Renault "Logan 2", put a set of dimensions 195 / 60R15, the ride is calm, moderate (90-100 km / h), the road surface is different, I mainly drove on the highway 70 percent, the rest is in the city, I live in the Sverdlovsk region near Hong Kong , during the winter I dashed off 13.7 t. Km. , before that I went to Nokian "hakkapelita 4,5, 7", Michelin "xin 3", changing to this rubber, you immediately feel the difference with Nokian, Goodrich's handling is slightly lower, it holds worse in corners, but it holds well, on a solid 4, and taking into account the price by 5, and along the longitudinal grip, sometimes the ABS works when braking, sometimes very unexpectedly, where it would seem that it should not work, they are very similar in behavior to Michelin " xin 3", despite the more brutal tread and the absence of the Michelin stud design, they are still inferior in terms of handling on asphalt and ice. After the season, I didn’t lose a single spike, the rubber didn’t crumble significantly around the spike, during operation, it happened to jump into the pits, I thought twice about the tire - the end, nothing like that, everything worked out, there were no hernias, it didn’t break through, very decent rubber, most preferable for those who prefer a calm driving style, it will help out more than once in difficult weather conditions, I do not recommend it to those who drive aggressively and I note that during the break-in, the rumble of spikes is heard, and there is a slight inaccuracy in steering (in turns and rebuilding), but then, during the break-in process, these symptoms disappear quite noticeably and quickly. Fuel, by feeling, is consumed like on summer tires, laziness and winter engine warm-ups interfere with accurate measurement. I photographed the condition of the tires. I noted how it was balanced and what was the difference in tire wear, I didn’t successfully puncture the wheel and sent it to the spare tire 3 months before the end of the season. I advised a friend to buy it, he put it on Priora and the kit was balanced well, as many loads as I don’t hang, he also really liked it. I apologize for the verbosity, everyone has a holiday in the soul and health in the body!

Pros
  • Excellent price, excellent grip properties, both on loose snow and on rolled snow, when driving on asphalt, handling is good, very quiet, fuel consumption, in comparison with summer tires, does not feel increased, a harmonious combination of studded and non-studded tires, due to the location of the spikes on the shoulders of the tread.
Cons
  • For the price that I bought, I don’t see any shortcomings, the rubber fully works out and justifies itself.
