Review on External sound card BEHRINGER U-PHORIA UMC22 by Anuson Anu ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

No minuses as such, comfortable to use.

I bought it to make electric guitar demos at home (Gibson SG Special 06) I didn't expect anything supernatural from such a cheap card (I bought it for 4.5 thousand), so I'll tell you in order. If you just connect the card to USB, stick good ears and a guitar into it, and listen to the sound through the monitoring button, then everything sounds very clear, though it is quite quiet on any sensor. Therefore, when recording (I tried it in protools, AU, Cubase), the signal is very weak, I have to resort to software amplifiers and get additional noise at the output. Software noise suppressors also save, after which an overload can be applied to the processed clean signal and a more or less acceptable result can be obtained. If you twist the gain1 and 2 knobs by more than 70%, then the amount of background noise increases many times. In addition, when working with software monitoring instead of the built-in one in the card, clicks are heard from the headphones, but this may be a defect of my particular device, so I will not slander. Results: You can hardly get something close to the studio recording, but for the home version it will do just fine. And if you still painstakingly work on a digital signal in the protool, then in general it will be possible to upload your work to social networks and YouTube, and not be afraid that your listeners will start to bleed their ears or something like that.

On Windows, continuous dances with a tambourine, stuck on a poppy and everything works with a garage band.

In general, a workhorse and more than beats off their money.
