The Best Wrist Guards

These bracers are real. I use them for skateboarding. About 5 weeks ago I sprained my wrist badly and couldn't skate for weeks and it killed me. I skateboard so I like to do a lot of up and down flip tricks. Unfortunately, primo landings are always risky with flip tricks, and every time I land primos, I slam the ground and my wrists get hit. My wrist sprain was so bad I couldn't turn my car keys or open the door for about a week. It's been over a month and I'm still barely able to do a few push-ups when I can usually do at least 40 in a row. I used about 187 handcuffs. You know, with a bent plastic spoon under the palm of your hand. It didn't seem to protect anything, if anything, it just distributed the entire blow to one point on my wrist, which probably caused even more pain than if I was naked. I tried skating a few weeks after spraining my wrist, taping a very large shirt over my wristband to provide impact protection, but even then each hit hurt like hell and my arm for several minutes immobilized. Watches could be bought with money, and people chose to do so. Boy am I glad I did that. These things are amazing. They're bigger than most wrist guards, but that doesn't stop me from skating at all. I've slapped my wrist with it many times, usually multiple times per session, so I probably get my wrist brutally smacked 15+ times a week. I didn't feel anything with these wrist guards. It has restored my confidence and I can do what I knew before I sprained my wrist with ease. I will never take them off while driving again. They seem very durable. I have nothing bad to say about these bracelets. If you value your wrists or tend to hold your hands when you fall in extreme sports, you need them.
