A bit pricey but worth it

I am a firm believer that this wrist guard will keep my wrists from falling on all my PEVs especially the EUC. Very strong, thick and restricts any rotation of the wrist. I recommend Flatland3d gloves for lazy rotation hoodie wrist protection, but you don't get better protection compared to a flexmeter. Not 100% compatible with lazy rotation hoodies, I see it's bulky and shouldn't be worn under tight shirts or long sleeved jackets. A bit pricey but the best wrist guard on the market.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Has protected me so far!

Choose this brand after many good reviews from Onewheel drivers. I'm new to Onewheel so I figured I would have a lot of crashes. My 60 year wisdom paid off as of course I fell a few times and these Flexmeter double faced wrists at least saved my palms. I don't know what would have happened to my wrists if I hadn't worn them, but I can tell you with confidence that they protected my palms from a pretty serious rash. I know because the Palm Guards are pretty beat up. And that's a good thingโ€ฆ

a bit pricey but they saved my wrists

I'm just learning to snowboard and they definitely saved my wrists at the end of my first day. I fell very hard, I was twisted and I probably would have hurt my wrists if it wasn't for them. You definitely need the right size gloves/mittens to put them on and it limits hand mobility, but after a while I got used to putting my bindings on and off without taking them off. I think they are a bit pricey because as someone else said in their review when you take the panels off your palms the velcroโ€ฆ

Legal Wrist Guard

I wear a wrist guard every day when I ride in the EUC and I admit it's the best I've ever tried. The fit was correct thanks to the measurement they recommended. The support is on both sides and starts halfway up the palm and extends to the wrist. If you want free fingers, they're great for that, but I prefer to wear gloves to protect my fingers, my thumb. Difficult to slip a glove over, but as long as there is enough room on the guard to go through the wrist area of the glove (obviously). There

The Best Wrist Guards

These bracers are real. I use them for skateboarding. About 5 weeks ago I sprained my wrist badly and couldn't skate for weeks and it killed me. I skateboard so I like to do a lot of up and down flip tricks. Unfortunately, primo landings are always risky with flip tricks, and every time I land primos, I slam the ground and my wrists get hit. My wrist sprain was so bad I couldn't turn my car keys or open the door for about a week. It's been over a month and I'm still barely able to do a fewโ€ฆ
