These mats have a nice thick rubber feel and should be able to take a heavy load. They have a few holes (which are covered) as you can see from the product photos. I was hoping to use extended brackets as BMW floor mats have velcro anchors on the floor mats. The velcro can be easily unscrewed and replaced with another type of T-anchor. Unfortunately the holes in these mats do not line up with the slots/attachment points in the carpet. It is a pity. These things seem pretty tight so they shouldn't move, but the floor still wobbles a bit. Being floating might be fine, but only time will tell.
