Review on Xiaoyztan Mesh Hatchery Breeder Plastic Frame Fish Tank: Separator for Efficient Separation and Breeding Net in an Aquarium by Maryland Hess

Great grow box to prevent juveniles from being eaten

Have had this for a while now but haven't been able to use it - until now. I have a 20 gallon tank full of guppies that you know breed like rabbits. Consequently, I have set up two 5 gallon tanks for when my pregnant females fry. But I bought 10 pure red albinos from a breeder who arrived today, much younger and smaller than expected. This net grow box was assembled in less time than it took my juveniles to get used to the water temperature in my large tank while remaining in the plastic bag they were shipped in. Tank. Because it is a net, water flows through it easily, so the fry are constantly swimming in fresh, warm, filtered water that never stagnates. After a few weeks, when they are big enough not to be eaten, I can release them into the aquarium itself, in the same water with the same parameters to which they have been accustomed since their appearance. This is not a small box. I could easily have 10-20 more roasts in this box without being overstuffed. I was also able to put a handful of grass in the box to allow the guppies to hide and feel more secure. I'm glad I bought this. I'm waiting for Black Friday to buy a 40 gallon tank and then I'll buy 2 more of these for that tank. It's a simple box that's easy to assemble and does exactly what it's designed to do - keep the fry in the same freshwater tank but prevent them from being eaten.
