Excellent construction including a great cable that plugs into the USB3. On a Mac, read/write speeds of 530/460MB/s respectively are good, but only if the fast SSD cache buffer is free and "pre-erased" SSD storage is available. This is the only way SSD cards can overwrite previously erased data. Data was erased separately.pass and at that point the write speed drops to 6MB/s during preflush I once experienced this unusual behavior (all I was told that SSD) I was very happy with this 1TB device and I have 2 of them.
