As mentioned by others, write speeds are noticeably slower for a drive of this size - only about 20-30MB/s/41 seconds for a 1.2GB file instead of 30 seconds that listed. , and it seems to get a lot slower with extended writes. Read speeds are as advertised, but for a large USB stick (256GB), write speeds are too slow for usability unless you download it once every few hours and never restart it. (And don't waste your time treating it like a bootable USB). It's also a very tight fit, which is a bit confusing as there's no clear indicator that you've pushed it all the way in. For my first few uses, I didn't want to force it, and I ended up encountering numerous connection errors. I've since learned to push it really hard to make sure it's fully inserted, but it's still confusing and I hope I didn't somehow damage the USB connector for other purposes. Eventually it gets very hot, so the touch just sits. Overall I'm not impressed and will probably return it.
