Small but powerful!: Iron

Heats up quickly, is lightweight, penetrates seams, works well when folded - my only concern is having to buy distilled water for better care but their information booklet tells you how to deal with mineralization. It's light enough not to tire your arms for tight work like stitching and pleating (I wouldn't use it for yard presses if there wasn't another option). The information folder is complete and easy to understand. It's set to US voltage (if you're wondering); and while it can be a little difficult to switch, you won't accidentally switch either. Love the ease of using it on a pillow next to the sewing machine. Small but powerful.
