6 AC outlets and 3 USB ports allow you to connect devices without cluttering up space. I installed it right behind my TV because that's one of the areas of my house that uses the most outlets. I like the screw in the middle so you can tighten each socket frame to make it more secure so it wins when you unplug something. Do not turn off all outlets. Of course, it protects your connected electronics with overvoltage protection in the event of a power failure.
