I didn't realize that the plugs should be rotated 180°, bottom out. As you can see from the photo, if you need to connect an adapter, you lose the connector on the other side. If the candles were upside down, there would be no problems. Other than that, the device works fine, and that's the only problem.

I love this outlet/surge protector. First, with outlets located in front, it's much more convenient than the ones it replaced, where the outlets were on the side. The power and protection indicators are visible but do not overshadow the device's subtle coloring. I'll be ordering a second one soon.

I ordered this because I need an outlet with USB ports for my workshop to charge my phone and bluetooth. It's also nice because it had 6 sockets, which by the way you're lucky if you can use three. 6 AC outlets and 3 USB ports allow you to connect devices without cluttering up space. I installed it right behind my TV because that's one of the areas of my house that uses the most outlets. I like the screw in the middle so you can tighten each socket frame to make it more secure so it wins when you unplug something. Do not turn off all outlets. Of course, it protects your connected electronics with overvoltage protection in the event of a power failure.

I love this device. I particularly like that there are grooves on the top of the case to rest your phone or small device on while charging. I will point out that it is designed for a standard double D socket. So if you have more modern (rectangular) sockets like mine you will need to replace them as there is a screw in the center of the unit that attaches it to the socket using the screw hole in the wall plate to do so. If your family needs multiple USB ports, there's a good chance the devices you want to connect to this power multiplier have DC power supplies. With the plugs facing inwards you only get 3 sockets (at best) because the cords block other sockets! Rotating the bushings 180 degrees would just be a design decision and it would be a great product. Unfortunately, I didn't even notice when ordering that the forks should point inwards.
