Very difficult and awkward to pour
This kettle is lovely to look at and to place on the stove. In use, it is very heavy and clunky to operate compared to the stainless steel version. If you're going to buy a coffee maker, I would buy one made of stainless steel. I have a regular stainless steel Hario and it's great! I figured I'd try to find something that would look good on the stovetop.
