I bought this knife (and other sizes of craft tools) because I was tired of cleaning and drying brand name knives at the local store, but they still rusted. I will never use any other brand for my drywall tools again. This is a work of art. Functionally the knife is fantastic and offers excellent control/smooth results. But the best thing is the maintenance or lack thereof. Not only does it not rust, neither chemicals nor putty will stick. After extensive use in less than ideal conditions, it still looks and performs flawlessly. I've used this on every type of putty imaginable, not just drywall. It's just amazing in your hands. However, they are stiff. So if for some reason you're looking for a very flexible type of articulating knife, this probably isn't the brand you're looking for. The stiffness doesn't affect performance in any way - I modified my technique a bit to accommodate this and gotten much better results than any other 10+ brand I've used.
