2700K is plenty bright
These lights have 1 page of installation instructions; easy to read and understand. Replaced fluorescents lights under the kitchen cabinets with these. Don't go 4000K unless you want to install a dimmer switch. No switch needed for these. One thing to note, you have to use smaller knockout holes on case.
