Updated 6/17/2018. Downgraded the rating from 5 to 3 stars. Unfortunately, this device does not support "roaming" between hotspots. This means that if the signal strength of the access point it is connected to decreases and there is a strong access point nearby, it will not automatically connect to a strong access point. This is an issue when using a MESH network. I called TPLINK support and they confirmed that roaming is not supported. It's a shame I didn't throw the packaging away so quickly. Aside from the lack of roaming support, it's reliable. First review to follow: Installed on Windows 10 Asus Zenbook UX305CA running Windows 10. Internal Wi-Fi card became very unreliable - a common occurrence. The problem is with this laptop. Works as it should. Very stable 5 GHz signal strength and bandwidth. Dragging and dropping a 2GB file over the local network runs at 25-27 MB/s. Its very small size is also welcome. I had 2 problems I was able to solve: 1. I downloaded the drivers from the website and tried to run "setup.exe" directly from the zip file - it didn't work. You need to extract the files first and then "setup.exe" will work correctly.2. Then I tried drag and drop copying and got very low throughput - less than 1MB/s. Then I rebooted and tried drag and drop copying again and the throughput was at 25-27MB /s great.
