This is a perfect example of an amazing design with poor quality parts! I would buy this case again just for the passive heatsink cooling, but my fan started making horrible bearing noises on DAY 5. Good idea, I need to find one of my 5V mini fans and replace it myself. I'm just wondering WHY. Why build such a nice case with all that solid aluminum and save 10 cents more on specs with a crappy Shenzen fan? ************************************************** **** ***************************** ***************** *** ***** I have BOINC running at 100% all the time on my Raspberry and love the fact that the case itself acts as a heatsink. I checked the CPU temp and it stays at around 55C with the fan turning on at minimum speed from time to time to bring the temp below the threshold. It's way better than those cheap acrylic cases with noisy cheap fans that do next to nothing. Note. I can't confirm if the breakout board works. My device works without a head. I've seen complaints about this from other reviews.
