I'd say you don't need that expensive water bottle unless you're in the mood to drink every hour. Also, between this larger and smaller version of this bottle, I would buy a smaller bottle next time as the larger one doesn't fit in the cup holders in your cars and their lids open and let water in everywhere, even at the slightest bend. As such, I would not recommend taking this large bottle with you for car trips. I tried putting it in my purse once and water leaked into my purse and into my car seats. Updated 11/28/2017. The company contacted us after seeing this review and sent us a small water bottle that fits nicely in a cup. car owner. They also sent us another large 50oz bottle to make sure nothing spilled. We closed the 50-ounce lid by pushing it down until we heard a slight click, and that helped keep it closed. Overall we have been impressed with the prompt customer support from the company and their great commitment to ensure we are happy with their products. Both bottles are now kept in our home and we love how the written time keeps us in control. I would recommend both bottles, the big one for your desk and the small one for cars and everywhere you go. Another tip that has worked for me is to always have a bottle close by so you can stay hydrated at the right time.
