When you need to cut insulation you need the right tool to cut it. This tool was as described. My husband showed me how to hold it by putting his pinky, ring and ring fingers through the hole in the handle and using the index finger on the outside for guidance and holding the thumb on the other side of the handle. (I've seen complaints that the grip hole wasn't big enough, but I think some didn't understand how to hold it.) Works. What's not to like?
