Review on 🔩 WoodPro Fasteners AP9X312 - Superior Construction Number 9 Fasteners by Brandon Woodson

I don't fret anytime soon I don't think so but these screws disappointed me with their packaging when I opened them. I ordered a set of 3.5" screws and a set of 2" screws. Any variety in a quantity said to weigh 1 pound would easily fit into something the size of a sandwich bag to give you an idea of the bulk. It's ok, I bought that. However, they were packaged as follows: in a plastic tub with enough room for 3 light screws, a layer of foam on top, with a non-hinged plastic lid that is difficult to remove and difficult to put back on (possible spillage during normal construction). The container would be so problematic for regular use to get to these screws so I gave up on it and put the screws in a different container. This plastic tube was then wrapped in a layer of cardboard, sealed with tape, and placed in an even larger box. On the positive side, the screws arrived without a single scratch (I usually don't care). On the negative I now have a small amount of cardboard and plastic for a recycler. The description title states that these are 1 lb screws with "79 pieces". Why not count while I complain? It only took a few minutes to count the 3.5" screws twice. There were 74 of them, not 79, a 7% shortfall on the account (I didn't weigh them). I haven't even tried them for construction purposes and I think they will work well, but next time I will look for another brand.
