Great Screws - Screws

Really everything you need to know is in the product name Self Tapping Wood Screws, Torx T25, #9, 3 1/2 inches long. Like most wood screws, they have a conical head. Allows easy flush setting of the screw with the wood surface for most construction applications (soft pine). When used in hardwood, you can pre-drill a countertop sink just as easily.

Screws that grab wood fast

What I like best about these star screws is how quickly they gain and hold grip on wood and how the star tip reduces bit slippage. The Star screw tip grips the wood much better and faster, reducing the time spent fastening parts. Although it really comes down to personal choice. Some people prefer Phillips (+) style heads. I like star tips because for me if the drill bit slips off the Phillips head and scratches the wood, the marks have to be sanded away, which adds to the finishing time. Star…

MUCH overpacked and quantity was short

I don't fret anytime soon I don't think so but these screws disappointed me with their packaging when I opened them. I ordered a set of 3.5" screws and a set of 2" screws. Any variety in a quantity said to weigh 1 pound would easily fit into something the size of a sandwich bag to give you an idea of the bulk. It's ok, I bought that.
